Trickstar-the Silent Man Behind Music Production

THE great Bob Marley once said, "One good thing about music is that when it hits you, you feel no pain." True to that music is the art that influences a lot of people in life and it somehow changes the way people think, act and look at things.

Musicians have been urged to produce good music with a lot of meaning on number occasions because of the impact a good song has on the masses.

That onus is not on the artists themselves but rather the people behind the music. One person who has gone without much recognition in the industry is the producer.

Producers do much more work than the artists in perfecting the music.

One producer that is making it in the industry is 26 year old Kangwa Nyagonye aka Trickstar. He is the man behind the Kanyelele song by one of the most sought after diva Kay Figo, Dalisouls's music, Indie K's album, Karasa and Copperbelts' most happening artists at the moment, Destiny.

The 26 year old graduate in Computer Science at the Evelyn College in Lusaka owns a studio in the capital city's Garden Township called Wave Energy studios and it is mostly used by raw talent in the township and other underprivileged areas.

The singer has worked with a lot of upcoming musicians in a quest to help them realise their dream of becoming singers and rappers.

The producer said with the competition in the industry, Zambian music is slowly gaining grounds and he calls on others to improve.
